At age 13, Matt faced a major health challenge due to a spinal tumor. After a critical surgery at New York Hospital For Special Surgery and a year in a full-torso cast, he chose exercise over a lifetime in a brace, starting a lifelong commitment to fitness and well-being.
Now at 63, Matt is a licensed massage therapist and personal trainer, with experience in various physical therapy clinics and five-star spas.
He has run his own practice for twelve years, combining massage, rehabilitation and personal training services.
Matt frequently appears on Fox's Loving Living Local television show, sharing his expertise in injury care and prevention, and participates in charity fitness events. He is also the author of several books including “Don't Sweat 60”, a book detailing his fitness journey and methods, and the secrets to living with youthful vigor and health.
Matt offers massage therapy, rehabilitation, stretching, personal training, and online coaching for nutrition and fitness, guiding others on their journey to wellness.
